Accurate Counting

I led a Foundations session for new member Blair at 8, worked out at 9:45, and led the 11 session. ‘Twas a very fun-filled morning!

Rotate through 4 stations; rest 3 minutes between activities.
Based upon the number of athletes at any sessions, the first 3 activities may be completing in different order. EVERYONE will be completed burpees together during the last round.

Metcon (AMRAP – Reps)

5-min AMRAP
Max rep unbroken clapping pushups
Complete 1 rope climb between sets of unbroken reps

58 clapping pushups and 7 rope climbs. I completed first 30 pushups in reps of 10. I finished 7th rope climb and with mere seconds left I completed 2 last pushups. ALL of my pushups were clapping. I’ll leave it at that.

Score = 65

Metcon (AMRAP – Reps)

5-min AMRAP
Max rep American KB swings (53/35)
Complete 10 calorie row between sets of unbroken reps

I completed 57 KB swings and rowed 30 calories.

Score = 87

Metcon (AMRAP – Reps)

5-min AMRAP
Max rep unbroken V-ups
Complete 1/arm Turkish get up (53/35) between sets of unbroken reps. Reps include both V-ups and TGUs.

For an added challenge I completed barbell TGUs. That was tough! I completed 50 V-ups and 3/arm TGUs. I was pleased that I was able to complete very last TGU in the last 7 seconds! I touch my toes for each and every rep. I’ll leave it at that.

Score = 56

Metcon (AMRAP – Reps)

5-min AMRAP
Inverted burpees
Complete forward roll + inverted burpee for Rx+

This was the most fun part of the workout, as Lauren was stationed to my left. Uhm, what a shitty counter she is. We had completed just 9 reps when she said, “That’s eleven reps, isn’t it?” I encouraged her as the clocked counted down and we BOTH completed 39 reps.

Score = 39
