My, how I have missed “Breaking Bad”. Aaron Paul deserves yet another Emmy. By the way, my Golf TDI is named Aaron Paul. True story.
Last night. Jesse Pinkman. Lawyer’s office. “Yo. Yo. Yo!”
I may or not bench press tonight. I completed the programmed metcon after coaching the noontime class, and I loved every minute of it.
15-min As Many REPs as Possible
— 5 forward rolls
— 10/side med ball Russian twists (20/14)
— 15 KB swings (52/35)
At minutes 4, 9, and 14, complete maximum number of 6-count burpees
At minutes 4, 9, and 14, immediately stop what you are doing and complete 6-count burpees. At minutes 5 and 10 begin foward rolls, Russian twists, or KB swings where you left off the last round.
Score is total number of reps, including burpees; thus, each round is 25 reps.
My goal was to complete all rounds unbroken. Not a lofty goal, I know. I accomplished goal.
Doing anything after completing forward rolls is always challenging. I found twisting after rolling to be particularly challenging. I found rolling with Luke spread out on the gymnastics mat to be challenging as well.
I completed 3 rounds + 5 forward rolls by the 4-minute mark, and I completed 13, 6-count burpees.
I completed the remaining Russian twists and KB swings of 4th round plus 1 complete round and 2 KB swings shy of another complete round. I once again completed 13, 6-count burpees.
I completed the last 2 KB swings of the plus 2 rounds and was 15 KB swings shy of completing another round. I was bound and determined to complete more than 13 burpees. I did so, completing 15.
Total = 8 rounds + 15 reps + 41 burpees = 296 reps, yo.
Deborah has begun painting the logo in the front lobby, and it looks wonderful!
